Jim Ross: AEW Planning To Resume Touring In July

AEW has produced all their content in Jacksonville, Florida during the pandemic

Jim Ross has revealed that All Elite Wrestling is planning to take their weekly shows back on the road in July.

When AEW started on the TNT Network in 2019 they became the first weekly touring wrestling promotion with a television deal since WCW, but the touring plans for every wrestling show had to be shelved early last year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

AEW has been able to use Daily's place in Jacksonville, Florida as their home during the coronavirus pandemic, but commentator Ross says the promotion is planning on returning to the road in the near future as the world begins to overcome COVID-19.

Speaking on his podcast, Grillin' JR, he said: "[AEW is] making some changes also. We're adding more content here sooner than later with another show. We're getting our schedule together. Looks like we're going back on the road pretty aggressively, beginning in July. Getting back in front of a live audience is a blessing.

"I can't wait. It will help everybody's work. You can't help but feed off of the adrenaline of the people and the audience surrounding you. Should be cool."
