Jim Ross Undergoes Surgery

AEW's Jim Ross has received treatment on his wrist

AEW commentator Jim Ross has been in the wars in recent times, with him seemingly sidelined with injury after injury and illness after illness. Over the weekend, Ross revealed that he had undergone another surgery, this time on his wrist in a post on X

“Wrist surgery successfully done. Healing continues.”

Earlier this year, Ross was diagnosed with a class A flu and elevated heart enzymes, and this led to him being hospitalised because of shortness of breath. This led to Jim Ross missing the AEW Double Or Nothing event in May. A similar event would happen again ahead of Forbidden Door where he was hospitalised once again through shortness of breath, though this time he would manage to get out of hospital in time to make his commitments for AEW and commentate at the PPV event.

Back in February of this year, Ross had cancer surgery on his right hip. His most recent surgery marks the third known surgery he has had in 2024, though via his post he seems to be in good spirits and looking ahead to recovery.
