Jinder Mahal Appears To Form New Faction On WWE Main Event [SPOILERS]
The Modern Day Maharaja is back!
May 4, 2021
Jinder Mahal has made a return to WWE television and seems to be forming a new faction.
Maha last competed on the main roster April 2020 against Akira Tozawa, but had to undergo surgery on a knee injury. He took part in a tag-team match at the special Superstar Spectacle event in January.
The former WWE Champion was sighted at WrestleMania 37 and competed before the May 3 episode of Raw, taking part in a match with Jeff Hardy which was taped for Thursday's Main Event.
The Modern Day Maharaja was accompanied to the ring by the team of Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh - known as Indus Shar - who helped him to defeat Hardy. The duo had been appearing semi-regularly on WWE NXT last year but were pulled from television in June.
There is no word yet what WWE have planned for the new trio but it is interesting that Mahal's new stable was debuted on Main Event, a show where storyline development tends not to be a priority, rather than on this week's episode of Raw.
You'll be able to see Mahal and his new teammates this Thursday on Main Event.
