Joe Hendry officially finished up with WWE NXT on night two of NXT Revenge, losing to Keanu Carver, and how WWE are planning to book the former TNA World Champion on the main roster has been revealed.
It has already been announced that Hendry will perform a concert on the April 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, and WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that Hendry will be a member of the Raw roster. WWE are planning to position the 37-year-old in the upper mid-card of Raw.
"Regarding Joe Hendry and Monday Night Raw, we are told this placement is now official as he joins the Raw brand and says goodbye to NXT after just a few short months. Back in December, it was widely speculated that SmackDown would be the eventual home for the charismatic Superstar, however creative over the past few weeks has landed him on Raw with an eye towards inserting him into the upper mid-card imminently," WrestleVotes said.
Joe Hendry - after being featured across WWE NXT as part of the WWE-TNA working relationship since the summer of 2024 - officially signed with WWE in November of 2025 after WWE bought out Hendry's TNA contract.
Hendry had been a part of NXT since becoming a full-time WWE wrestler, although he did make a couple of appearances on SmackDown in December 2025. Hendry's time on NXT saw him have a 60-day reign as NXT Champion, with the Scottish wrestler dropping the belt to Tony D'Angelo in a four-way at NXT Stand & Deliver. He wasn't expected to have an extended run on NXT as Hendry is signed to a main roster-level deal.
Hendry is one of multiple WWE main roster call-ups in the aftermath of WrestleMania 42, with Sol Ruca and Ethan Page also making their way to Monday Night Raw.
