Joe Hendry is currently one of the top stars on WWE NXT, but the former TNA World Champion is earning well above the minimum NXT salary for televised talents of $75,000 per year.
Hendry signed with WWE earlier this month, with the company buying out his TNA contract ahead of Hendry's deal expiring at the end of 2025. WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels reportedly wanted the company to try and buy out Hendry's TNA deal.
According to Sean Ross Sapp in Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Joe Hendry put pen to paper on a main roster-level deal with WWE and he is earning above the main roster minimum salary of $350,000 per year. Hendry's exact salary with WWE is unknown, however.
Hendry has been featured on WWE NXT since 2024 as part of the working relationship with TNA Wrestling and he quickly cemented himself as a popular talent on the Tuesday night show.
How long Hendry will be a part of WWE NXT is unknown. He has most recently been involved in a programme with Ethan Page which saw Hendry and Thea Hail unsuccessfully challenge Page and Chelsea Green for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles at NXT Gold Rush.
