John Cena Addresses The Live Crowd Following WWE Money In The Bank 2021

Cena made his shock return at the pay-per-view

John Cena is back and, according to the man himself, he isn't going anywhere in the immediate future.

Cena capped an incredible WWE Money In The Bank 2021 show by making his surprise return at the end of the pay-per-view, confronting Universal Champion Roman Reigns, taunting the Tribal Chief with a 'You Can't See Me' before playing to the crowd to close the event.

Cena's appearance at Dickies Arena in Forth Worth, Texas, is the first time he has been in WWE since April of last year, and the 44-year-old directly addressed the audience in attendance following the end of the pay-per-view.

The 16-time World Champion was thrilled to be back in front of the WWE Universe and assured the fans this wasn't a one-time only thing.

He said: "It's so weird because I'm used to you guys telling me how much I suck. Man, this feels pretty good. Look at this dude's sign of here, it says, 'If Cena shows up, we cheer!' is this bizarro world? What's going on?

"Tonight, I just wanted to come out here, and let Roman Reigns know that I was back, and I certainly wanted to come out here and let all the people know that I’m back. Now, I promise you this is not one night only, but what’s special to me is that this is the first night.

"I've missed you guys. I've really, really missed you guys. I love you guys. Thank you so much for being here."
