The 2026 class of the WWE Hall of Fame is set to feature one of the company's biggest-ever talents.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, John Cena is "very likely" to be the headline name in the 2026 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony typically takes place over WrestleMania weekend, with WrestleMania 42 scheduled to emanate from Las Vegas for the second year in a row.
John Cena has been on his retirement tour throughout 2025 and the 17-time world champion is due to retire at the December 13 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. His opponent will be the winner of the Last Time is Now tournament.
John Cena has been featured on WWE TV since 2002 and he has been a main eventer in the company since 2005. Cena remained WWE's top star until he transitioned to a part-time schedule in 2017, and he made sporadic appearances for the company for the next eight years until he committed to more dates for his retirement run in 2025.
Already announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026 is Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie's hall of fame induction was made official during the Wrestlepalooza pay-per-view.
