Prior to the Wrestlepalooza 2025 main event between Drew McIntyre & Cody Rhodes last night, a big announcement took place during the premium live event. WWE Hall Of Famer The Undertaker made a surprise appearance, coming down to the ringside area on his motorbike. He walked steadily over to Stephanie McMahon, who was sitting near WWE president Nick Khan in the crowd.
McMahon looked wary and confused as The Undertaker grabbed a mic and clambered over the barricade, sitting down next to McMahon and reflecting on their long friendship with one another. The Undertaker would then announce to the world that McMahon was the first inductee into the 2026 Hall Of Fame. McMahon looked shocked at the announcement, shedding some tears as she gave a hug to The Deadman.
During the Wrestlepalooza post-show, McMahon’s husband and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H revealed that McMahon had no idea about the announcement prior to the show, and her surprised reaction was genuine. McMahon has been a long-time member of WWE both behind the scenes on the business side and in front of the camera too, having tenures as General Manager, WWE Women’s Champion, and more over the years. She is often credited as being an integral part of the women’s revolution in WWE.
