John Cena Vs. Logan Paul Discussed Internally In WWE

WWE have discussed running John Cena vs. Logan Paul

John Cena’s upcoming WWE retirement tour has caused fans to speculate on what feuds they’d want to see for ‘Big Match John’ during his last run.

Cena announced that he will go on one last run until Money in the Bank 2025, and a report from WrestleVotes suggests that the 16-time World Champion could face Logan Paul during this run.

Internal speculation within WWE suggests the match could happen, with it claimed there is ‘100% interest’ from both Cena and Logan to make it happen. WWE creative is also apparently on board, and it seems that the only thing that needs to be worked out is scheduling.

WWE had planned to run Cena vs. Paul in 2023, with the two originally set to clash at WrestleMania 39. Ultimately this didn’t come to pass, with Cena working with Austin Theory instead on the show.

Earlier reports suggested that Cena could be set to face Gunther during this upcoming run, with a match between Cena and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion penned for a ‘marquee PLE’. Cena has also been vocal about wanting to wrestle in the UK during this final run, with Cena having previously advocated for WWE to finally host WrestleMania in the country.
