John Laurinaitis' First Post-WWE Appearance Scrapped Following 'Negative Feedback’

John Laurinaitis has kept a low profile since his WWE exit in 2022

After being unceremoniously ousted from WWE for his part in the hush money scandal of 2022, John Laurinaitis was recently announced to be making an appearance at a Big Time Collectibles event in April 2023.

The appearance was set to be Laurinaitis’ first major public appearance since his WWE dismissal, but it has since been cancelled due to Big Time Collectibles receiving a host of negative feedback over the booking.

The cancellation of Laurinaitis’ scheduled appearance was confirmed by Big Time Collectibles Bobby Fulton, who posted the following (courtesy of F4WOnline):

“Yesterday we announced John Laurinaitis would be doing an appearance with Big Time Collectibles. Upon announcement we received only negative feedback. After much consideration we have decided to not work with him. We apologise to those that were offended by us working with him.”

Laurinaitis was ‘quietly removed’ from WWE in August 2022, after being removed from his position as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations in June following the publication of reports linking Laurinaitis to Vince McMahon and the ‘Hush Money’ scandal in WWE.
