Report: WWE Interested In Re-Signing Former Developmental Talent

WWE want to bring back a former developmental talent

WWE are reportedly interested in bringing back a former developmental talent.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE have "expressed some interest" in re-signing EJ Nduka. The 34-year-old currently performs in Major League Wrestling but his contract is set to expire imminently, making him a free agent. WWE aren't the only promotion after Nduka, though, and his name has been mentioned in All Elite Wrestling, as well as within Japanese companies.

After two tryouts, Nduka signed with WWE as a developmental talent in August 2019. He didn't make it to TV, though, and he only had two matches on NXT house shows, wrestling as Ezra Judge. He was released in May 2021, a decision which reportedly shocked people in WWE as they believed he had the physical attributes to be a major star. Nduka is 6'8" and 285 lbs.

Following his WWE release, Nduka signed with MLW in the summer of 2021. He is currently one-half of the reigning MLW Tag Team Champions with Calvin Tankman as Hustle and Power. Nduka has been presented as a major star in the promotion and he recently unsuccessfully challenged for the MLW World Heavyweight Title.
