Joker Sting Returns On AEW Dynamite

Joker Sting made a return on AEW Dynamite

Joker Sting is back!

After reviving elements of the Joker face paint earlier this Summer, Sting brought back his Joker Sting mannerisms on the August 16 edition of AEW Dynamite. The 'Insane Icon' appeared on the titantron ahead of Darby Allin and Nick Wayne vs. The Gates of Agony, revealing that he had kidnapped Prince Nana.

Sting first incorrectly stated that his and Darby Allin's Coffin Match against Swerve Strickland and AR Fox was only nine days away, with The Franchise channelling his inner Heath Ledger Joker after Prince Nana corrected him. Sting then presented elements of Jack Nicholson's Joker, signing off the segment by declaring "It's showtime!"

The Coffin Match will take place at AEW All In on Sunday, August 27 from Wembley Stadium in London, England. The show will be AEW's debut in the United Kingdom.

Joker Sting initially had a run in TNA Wrestling in 2011 with Sting taking inspiration from the theatrics of Cesar Romero and the anarchistic ideals of Heath Ledger to present a more outlandish version of himself.
