Jon Moxley Comments On NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 Red Hood Costume

Jon Moxley has opened up about his Red Hood inspired entrance attire

Jon Moxley joined the lengthy list of wrestlers who have dressed to the ring inspired by the looks of comic book characters at Wrestle Kingdom 18. Ahead of his IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship triple threat match against David Finlay and Will Ospreay, Moxley caught the eyes of fans as he sported a mask inspired by DC character, Red Hood.

This wasn’t something of Moxley’s design though, as he explained to Christian Hoffer of ComicBook.com.

"I'm not sure whose idea that was. But I like the pageantry sometimes, especially big shows and big fights and stuff like that. I keep it pretty simple, so usually, it's not really my thing. But sometimes, well, I want to have some fun too. Everybody else gets to wear these ridiculous outfits and I want to dress like Liberace and come to the ring at least one time."

In what feels like classic Moxley, he explained that he had to be talked into the entrance gear. Moxley is a simple man and often just sports the same sort of attire to the ring for every match, so it was notable to see him trying something different.
