Jon Moxley Segment Added To 8/31 AEW Dynamite

The new AEW World champion speaks

AEW announced during Friday's Rampage broadcast that undisputed World champion Jon Moxley will speak on this coming Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, coming just four nights from next Sunday's All Out pay-per-view.

Moxley became the undisputed World champion by defeating CM Punk in an abbreviated match on this past Wednesday's Dynamite in Cleveland. Moxley had been interim champion since June 26, while Punk had been lineal champion since May 29, but was sidelined due to a foot injury.

Wednesday's match played off of Punk's surgically-repaired foot, as he reinjured himself delivering a high kick. Moxley completely took over the match from there, and won in just three minutes after hitting two Death Riders.

As it currently stands, Moxley is not booked for All Out. There are apparent plans for a Moxley/Punk rematch for the title, but AEW has not formally announced the match yet.

The current card for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, taking place at the NOW Arena in Chicago, includes the following:

* AEW Trios Tag Tournament Semifinal: The Elite vs. Will Ospreay and Aussie Open

* Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida vs. Dr. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter

* Bryan Danielson vs. Jake Hager

* Comments from undisputed AEW World champion Jon Moxley
