Jon Moxley Vs. Lee Moriarty Added To 11/2 AEW Dynamite
In a World title eliminator bout
The situation involving Jon Moxley, MJF, and The Firm continues on this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, as Moxley takes on Firm member Lee Moriarty in a World title eliminator bout.
The challenge was issued on Friday's Rampage, after Moxley won another eliminator bout over Matt Menard. Moriarty and Stokely Hathaway came out to issue the challenge, which Moxley accepted.
Per the stipulation, if Moriarty were to beat Moxley, he would get a shot at the AEW World title in a subsequent match.
The Firm attacked Moxley following his win over Penta El Zero Miedo on Wednesday's Dynamite, despite MJF telling Hathaway he didn't want them to do so. The Firm then turned on MJF, and concluded their attack by having W. Morrissey powerbomb MJF through a ringside table.
The current card for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, taking place at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, includes the following:
