Report: WWE Interested In Another Women's Talent

Could somebody else be returning?

Following the return of Emma on Friday night's episode of WWE SmackDown, there is reportedly interest on WWE's end in bringing another women's wrestler back.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, WWE has interest in bringing Tegan Nox (Nixon Newell) back into the fold.

Nox was released from WWE in November of 2021 and has not wrestled since. Fightful's report notes that Nox had been dealing with visa issues at some point earlier this year.

Nox signed with WWE in April of 2017 and was due to compete in that year's Mae Young Classic, but was sidelined with a torn ACL. She returned one year later and competed in the 2018 tournament, but suffered extensive knee injuries during her quarterfinal match against Rhea Ripley.

Nox returned to the ring in the summer of 2019, and made appearances for NXT UK shortly thereafter. For the US brand, Nox began teaming with Dakota Kai.

Nox was called up to the main WWE roster in the summer of 2021, where she formed a tag team with Shotzi Blackheart. Her last match with the company came at a house show on October 17 of last year.
