Jon Moxley's NJPW Debut To Air On AXS TV On Two-Day Delay

His first post-WWE match takes place next week...

Over this past weekend, Jon Moxley was revealed as the mystery man built up to face IWGP United States champion Juice Robinson. The two will clash on Wednesday, June 5 at Tokyo's Sumo Hall, at the Best of the Super Juniors finals.

According to Dave Meltzer, the match will air on a two-day tape delay, Friday night, June 7 on AXS TV in NJPW's regular 8 PM EST time slot.

Moxley is expected to have future matches with New Japan, though opponents for those matches aren't currently known. His multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling allows him to take international and independent dates away from the company, but AEW maintains priority over his dates, especially once the company begins broadcasting weekly on TNT.

Moxley will wrestle for AEW at Fyter Fest in Daytona Beach on June 29. His independent schedule is also filling up, taking matches with Darby Allin and Pentagon Jr this summer for Northeast Wrestling.

For an interesting trip down memory lane ahead of the Robinson-Moxley clash, here's Moxley (as Dean Ambrose) teaming with Corey Graves to take on Robinson (as CJ Parker) and Richie Steamboat at a Florida Championship Wrestling card in March 2012.
