This weekend’s upcoming AEW Battle of the Belts II TV special will see the Ring of Honor World Championship on the line as champion Jonathan Gresham faces off with former champion Dalton Castle.

This will mark Gresham’s first defence of the unified ROH World Championship, after defeating lineal champion Bandido at ROH Supercard of Honor on April 1.

Castle will be looking for redemption and will be seeking to impress, with ‘The Party Peacock’s long awaited ROH World Title reign in 2017/2018 hampered by multiple back injuries. On social media, AEW and ROH confirmed that Castle will be joined by The Boys for the first time in several years.

Castle last wrestled for ROH at the Supercard of Honor pre-show, defeating Joe Hendry, itself a return to winning ways after dropping the ROH World TV Title at Final Battle 2021.

Battle of the Belts II is set to air on Saturday April 16, and will be taped on April 15 after a live AEW Rampage.

Confirmed matches for AEW Battle of the Belts II:

  • Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Nyla Rose - AEW Women's Championship
  • Jonathan Gresham (c) vs. Dalton Castle - ROH World Championship
  • Scorpio Sky (c) vs. Sammy Guevara - AEW TNT Championship
