Rey Fenix Gives Update On Return

Rey Fenix gives an update on his return

AEW star Rey Fenix has provided an update on his return from injury.

In a video posted by Lucha Libre AAA on their social media pages, the masked man announced that he will be ready to compete at AAA's first Triplemania XXX event in Monterrey on April 30.

In the video, Fenix says "Hello friends, here is the MexaKing Fenix, one half of the best tag team in the world, the Lucha Brothers. Don't miss Triplemania 30, Part 1, in Monterrey. I, the MexaKing will be present. Don’t you dare miss it. Animo!".

Fenix has been out of action since he suffered a nasty arm injury on the January 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. On that show, he and Penta El Zero Miedo dropped the AEW Tag Team Titles to Jurassic Express.

Though no official AEW return date has been announced for Fenix, one would assume his return to AAA means the Death Triangle member will be back wrestling for Tony Khan's promotion sooner rather than later.
