Josh Alexander Pulled From Team IMPACT At No Surrender

He's suspended too

Josh Alexander has been pulled from Team IMPACT ahead of their Five-on-Five Match against Honor No More at February 19th's No Surrender.

The Walking Weapon was removed from the team on Thursday's episode of IMPACT after he defeated former WWE Superstar Kon in two minutes with an Ankle Lock.

Alexander refused to relinquish the submission after the bell, though, and the former IMPACT World Champion attacked security and pushed over Scott D'Amore before he eventually calmed down.

The 34-year-old then cut an impassioned promo about wanting his IMPACT World Title rematch but D'Amore told him he had to respect the process, something Alexander was sick of. The Walking Weapon then said he either got his world title shot or he was gone from IMPACT.

An angry D'Amore retaliated, pulling Alexander from No Surrender and suspending him.

Steve Maclin quickly staked his claim for the open spot and after he saved Cary Silkin later in the night from Honor No More, he was added to Team IMPACT.

With that, Team IMPACT is Steve Maclin, Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Rhino. They will take on Honor No More's PCO, Vincent, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven and Kenny King.
