Josh Alexander is ‘All Elite’, with the former TNA World Champion signing a deal with All Elite Wrestling.

Alexander departed TNA after the expiration of his contract in mid-February, and was widely tipped to join AEW almost as soon as he exited the IMPACT Zone. Indeed, it was first reported in February that Alexander was signing with Tony Khan’s outfit, but visa issues for the Canadian native are believed to have delayed his debut.

On the April 16 Spring BreakThru edition of AEW Dynamite, Alexander made his debut in the company, taking the ‘wildcard’ slot in the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to take on Hangman Page in singles action. Page eventually overcame ‘The Walking Weapon’, but Alexander quickly aligned with Don Callis, helping Kyle Fletcher beat down the former AEW World Champion after the match.

A Triple Crown Champion in TNA, Alexander revealed in early 2024 that he would not be signing a new deal with TNA, prompting interest from both AEW and WWE. Alexander is the second former TNA champion to join AEW in recent months, with multi-time X-Division Champion "Speedball" Mike Bailey joining AEW in March.
