Josh Alexander is believed to have signed with All Elite Wrestling, but the former TNA World Champion is yet to debut with the organisation.

Reports in February suggested that Alexander was indeed coming into AEW, but a follow-up from Fightful Select notes that Alexander sorting out a working visa could be the reason he is yet to set foot in an AEW ring. Alexander is a Canadian native, and he recently made a surprise appearance at a Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling show in his homeland.

The ‘Walking Weapon’ last wrestled on January 24, performing at his last TNA IMPACT tapings before departing the promotion upon the expiration of his contract. Alexander made no secret of his deal expiring, with reports in early 2024 stating that Alexander would be seeking to explore free agency upon the expiration of his TNA deal. TNA subsequently added a year onto his deal, with Alexander becoming a free agent in early 2025.

Both AEW and WWE were interested in Alexander, with it believed that AEW made the better offer to Alexander, with assumed a higher pay offer and easier schedule swayed Alexander to sign with AEW.
