Josh Alexander Wins IMPACT World Championship At Rebellion 2022

Josh Alexander finally reclaims the IMPACT World Championship

Josh Alexander has finally regained the IMPACT World Championship after defeating Moose at IMPACT Rebellion 2022.

Alexander was fired up from the opening bell, withstanding everything Moose threw at him, at one point becoming the first wrestler in IMPACT to kick out of Moose’s spear.

‘The Walking Weapon’ threw everything at ‘The Wrestling God’, nailing German suplexes, C4 Spikes, Ankle Locks, and even a Styles Clash in his quest for the gold. Eventually a second C4 Spike did it, Alexander celebrating in the ring with his family as Rebellion went off the air.

The win sees Alexander win the IMPACT World Championship for a second time, with his first championship win coming over Christian Cage at Bound For Glory 2021, before Moose cruelly called his shot mere minutes later, taking the title from ‘The Walking Weapon’.

Moose’s reign finishes up at 182 days, with Moose sitting at joint 11th on the IMPACT World Championship all-time reigns list, tied for eleventh place with Samoa Joe, with Rich Swann in tenth after his 183 day reign in 2020/2021.
