It was a night of change at IMPACT Rebellion 2022, as several new champions were crowned at IMPACT’s latest PPV event.

Taya Valkyrie enjoyed a sterling IMPACT return, as she lifted the AAA Reina de Reinas title for the fourth time, after disposing of ‘The Champ Champ’ Deonna Purrazzo. Valkyrie wore down ‘The Virtuosa’ and got the win with a Road to Valhalla, avenging her loss to Purrazzo over 15 months ago.

Valkyrie wasn’t the only wrestler to regain a title, as Ace Austin won his third X Division Championship after a breakneck three-way match against Trey Miguel and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey. Austin seemed like a non-entity in the match, as Miguel and Bailey peppered ‘Inevitable’ with their arsenal. Miguel looked to have everything sewn up after a Brainbuster and Meteora on Bailey, but Austin pulled the ref before he crushed Miguel with a Fold to become the three-time X Division Champion.

And then in Rebellion’s main event, Josh Alexander finally recaptured the IMPACT World Championship, defeating Moose - you can read more about the main event here.
