"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry Responds To Backlash Over Recent Convention Appearance

Jungle Boy on his For The Love of Wrestling appearance

"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry was recently in the United Kingdom along with other AEW talents, including Anna Jay, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, Ruby Soho, and FTR, as part of the For The Love of Wrestling convention in Manchester, England.

Perry was involved in a Q&A alongside Anna Jay and Ruby Soho while at the convention and the likes of Jim Cornette reacted angrily to Jungle Boy's answers during the Q&A, criticising his attitude. Perry, who appeared to be in character for much of the Q&A, stated he wouldn't take advice from Billy Gunn for his dislike of canadian destroyers, advised prospective wrestlers not to get into wrestling, and said some wrestlers had horrible dark matches in the promotion.

Perry has responded to the backlash, tweeting: "- Had a blast in Manchester and I always love meeting the fans. - If you don't like something that's ok! -Take a walk. Get laid. Hit a Canadian destroyer. -Thanks for the support."

Perry is currently at the top of the card in All Elite Wrestling. He will challenge for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing on May 28 in a Four Way that includes champion MJF, Sammy Guevara, and Darby Allin.
