Kairi Sane Returns To In-Ring Action At WWE House Show
The Pirate Princess is back...
Jan 20, 2020
At the TLC pay-per-view, The Kabuki Warriors defended their Women's Tag Team Championships against Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. During the opening minutes of the contest, Sane was knocked out and was noticeably suffering from an injury for the rest of her title defence.
Since then, The Pirate Princess has appeared on WWE TV, accompanying Asuka to the ring during episodes of Monday Night Raw, but she has not competed inside the squared circle since TLC.
She was expected to return to the ring on December 26at Madison Square Garden but the company cancelled the match.
WWE never officially confirmed what type of injury Sane suffered, but it was suspected she had been in the company's concussion protocol since the pay-per-view.
Sane seems to be fine now, however, as she returned to in-ring action on Friday during WWE's house show at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. She teamed with Asuka & Sarah Logan as they took on Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair & Natalya.
Sane reacted to her return on Twitter, writing:
"I'm back. I love wrestling #WWElafayette."
