Karissa Rivera Debuts On WWE NXT As Elektra Lopez
Karissa Rivera makes her official debut
Franky Monet competed in her World Premiere Encore on last night's episode of NXT against a debuting Superstar.
La Wera Loca went one on one with Elektra Lopez on the show. Lopez managed to get in some offence during the opening moments but Monet quickly took control and picked up the win after a couple of minutes with the Glam Slam.
Lopez previously wrestled as Karissa Rivera outside of WWE. She has been active since 2017 and competed in IMPACT Wrestling, Ring Of Honor and for multiple independent wrestling promotions like NEW.
She also wrestled on WWE TV before signing with the company, first in an NXT squash match loss to Lacey Evans in 2018. Rivera then teamed with Kris Statlander against The IIconics on an April 2019 episode of SmackDown and she would later appear on Monday Night Raw as Bobby Lashley's ex-wife during Lana and The All Mighty's wedding.
Rivera signed with WWE in February 2021 and she was part of the same Performance Center class as LA Knight, Bronson Reichsteiner, Parker Boudreaux, Blake Christian, and her opponent Franky Monet.
