Katsuhiko Nakajima Teases WWE NXT Appearance

Could Katsuhiko Nakajima head to WWE NXT?

Could the AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship end up appearing on WWE NXT.

No Quarter Catch Crew's Charlie Dempsey has been wrestling for All Japan Pro-Wrestling in recent days, even challenging Katsuhiko Nakajima for the Triple Crown Title on January 3 in Japan. Dempsey was ultimately unsuccessful in his title defence, losing in 18 minutes following Nakajima's Vertical Spike Brainbuster finisher.

The two wrestlers shook hands after the match and Nakajima teased a possible appearance in WWE NXT, noting in his post-show comments that maybe he will see Charlie Dempsey in NXT.

"Have you ever seen the Triple Crown defended against an NXT Wrestler? No... This is why I am the champion... Dempsey, maybe next time I'll see you in NXT," Nakajima said.

The head-to-head record of Dempsey vs. Nakajima is currently tied at 1-1. Dempsey pinned the Triple Crown Champion in a tag team match on January 2.

Katsuhiko Nakajima has been Triple Crown Champion since he defeated Yuma Aoyagi on November 5. He successfully defended the belt against Kento Miyahara on December 31 prior to his match with Charlie Dempsey on January 3.
