Kazuchika Okada Reveals He Doesn't Hate TNA At TNA Snake Eyes Tapings

At Snake Eyes, Kazuchika Okada admitted he doesn’t hate TNA

Kazuchika Okada and TNA Wrestling have a difficult relationship to say the least.

The New Japan Pro Wrestling legend had a run to forget in TNA during his American excursion in 2010, being given the terrible Green Hornet inspired Okato gimmick for his troubles.

Whilst Okada has been vocal in his displeasure with TNA that didn’t stop him returning to the company at the recent Snake Eyes TV tapings on January 14, with ‘The Rainmaker’ teaming with The Motor City Machine Guns to face The System in six-man tag action. After the match, Okada took the mic to say the following about the promotion:

“Thank you. Many people ask me, ‘Why you hate TNA?’ But I don’t hate TNA. Thank you, TNA. TNA made me not Rainmaker…. But good thing for me. Thank you, TNA," Okada said.

TNA and NJPW’s original working agreement was soured by their use of Okada, but the two promotions now get on better than ever, successfully co-promoting several shows in the USA over the past few years. TNA also work closely with Lucha Libre AAA, the two sides signing an official partnership agreement at Hard to Kill on January 13.
