Keith Lee Backstage At AEW Dynamite

There has been a potential sign that Keith Lee could be on his way back to All Elite Wrestling.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Keith Lee was backstage at last week's episode of AEW Dynamite from Athens, Georgia. Why Lee was backstage at the event is unknown but he hadn't been at any AEW events for some time.

Keith Lee has been on the shelf since December 2023 after being pulled from his match with Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End only hours before the show. Lee had reportedly been dealing with an issue since Grand Slam 2022 and he underwent double surgery in early 2024.

As of October 2024, Lee had not been cleared to make an in-ring return due to an undisclosed medical issue.

Following his WWE release, Keith Lee signed with All Elite Wrestling in early 2022 and he has wrestled across AEW TV and Ring of Honor. He is a one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion, having held the belts for 70 days with Swerve Strickland.
