Keith Lee Challenges Chris Jericho To AEW Dynamite Match

Keith Lee and Chris Jericho set to face off on AEW Dynamite

Keith Lee and Chris Jericho are set to wrestle each other for the first time on the April 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, after Lee challenged Jericho to a match on the April 5 Dynamite.

Jericho was being interviewed backstage by Tony Schiavone, complaining of the disrespect shown to Jericho Appreciation Society member Daniel Garcia by Adam Cole after Cole defeated Garcia on March 29. Jericho’s comments caused Lee to appear and show his hand, saying that Jericho had disrespected many people in AEW before formally challenging ‘The Ocho’ to a match next week.

This will be Lee’s first singles match in AEW since October 2022, when ‘The Limitless One’ defeated Serpentico on the October 28 edition of Rampage. For Jericho, his last singles match ended in defeat at the hands of Ricky Starks at AEW Revolution on March 5.

Somehow, Jericho and Lee have never shared a ring despite a combined 50 years worth of in-ring experience, with both men’s career paths failing to converge until Lee joined AEW in 2022.
