Keith Lee Debuts On AEW Dynamite

Keith Lee in AEW!

Rumours had swirled over the past couple of weeks that Keith Lee was AEW bound and The Limitless One was indeed All Elite!

AEW President Tony Khan announced on Friday, February 4 that a "top wrestler" would debut in the promotion on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite against Isiah Kassidy and that "top wrestler" was revealed to be Keith Lee.

The fans certainly didn't forget about The Limitless One and Lee received a monster reaction in Atlantic City.

Lee was then presented as a monster as he decimated Isiah Kassidy within a few minutes before he put the Private Party member away with the Big Bang Catastrophe to qualify for the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match.

Prior to joining AEW, Keith Lee performed in WWE from 2018 until his release in November of 2021.

The 37-year-old spent much of his time on the NXT brand and he gathered momentum following a stellar showing at Survivor Series 2019 which culminated with him winning the North American and NXT Titles, becoming the first wrestler to hold both belts simultaneously.

Lee then moved to the WWE main roster but he found his run stunted by the company's booking and near-fatal heart issues which sidelined the 37-year-old for several months until July of 2021. Lee came back with a Bearcat nickname but was released only a few months later.

Prior to his WWE run, Lee was a top star on the independent wrestling scene, performing for the likes of Ring Of Honor, PWG and EVOLVE.
