Jay White Appears On AEW Dynamite

Jay White in AEW!

Tony Khan had a Forbidden Door surprise on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite from Atlantic City, New Jersey.

After The Elite's Adam Cole and The Young Bucks attacked Roppongi Vice's Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta backstage, a mysterious figure suddenly helped the former Bullet Club members.

Once Beretta and Romero found themselves laid out, the figure turned around and revealed themselves to be Bullet Club's Jay White, making him the latest New Japan Pro-Wrestling star to walk through the Forbidden Door into AEW.

White then said a few non-confrontational words to The Elite before he walked away, teasing a possible alliance between the two factions.

A star of New Japan, White has been a featured performer in the promotion since he returned from excursion in 2017 and he was the first NJPW Grand Slam Champion, having previously held the IWGP Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, IWGP United States Heavyweight and NEVER Openweight Titles.

He also main evented night two of Wrestle Kingdom 15 alongside Kota Ibushi, competing in the longest match in Tokyo Dome history in the process.

White has been based in the United States since May of 2021 and he has performed on NJPW Strong alongside appearances in IMPACT Wrestling.
