Kelly Kelly Turns Down WWE Evolution Invitation

Evolution 2025 is likely to have several legends in the house, with rumours circulating over the last few weeks over potential names that WWE are bringing back for the all-women’s premium live event. For instance, Nikki Bella will be competing in the battle royal for a shot at either the WWE Women’s Title or Women’s World Title at Clash In Paris, and Trish Stratus will be returning to the ring to take on Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. Someone who won’t be at Evolution is Kelly Kelly. 

The former Divas Champion was a part of the inaugural Evolution show, competing in a star-studded and legend-filled battle royal. This time around, WWE invited Kelly Kelly to appear at Evolution, but just to sit in the crowd. Taking to X in response to a fan post, Kelly revealed that she didn’t think it was right to come back in this capacity. 

“Thank you love, I was So honored to be invited to Evolution II, to sit in the crowd it just didn’t feel like the right way to come back. I’ll always be proud to have been part of the first, my heart is with every woman in that ring tomorrow. I’ll be back when the time’s right.”

Kelly last wrestled for WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble event as a surprise entrant to the women’s bout.
