Kenny Omega finally finds out the truth.
The Best Bout Machine had been in the dark about Matt Jackson giving Hangman Page the nod to hit Omega with a Buckshot Lariat in the main event of Full Gear 2021 to win the AEW World Championship. Omega noted following the match that he had not watched it back and he was off TV for several months following Full Gear due to injury.
When Omega returned to the ring, The Young Bucks managed to keep the secret from him, even smashing Alex Reynolds' phone on last week's episode of Being The Elite. Everything came to a head on this week's edition of BTE, though, as Reynolds, accompanied by John Silver and Evil Uno, spilled the beans to Omega about what happened at Full Gear 2021.
After initially reacting with anger and telling Hangman that he really wanted to give him a "knuckle-duster sandwich" at the time, Omega revealed he was fine about what happened because it was Page's time to be world champion. Omega then repeatedly called Matt "Man Jackson" before admitting what he did was the true definition of friendship.
With no one having any regrets, the four best friends that anyone could have set off for Wendy's.
