WWE NXT Talent Reveals Their Character Is Partly Inspired By High School Musical

WWE NXT's resident rich girl talks about the inspirations behind her heel persona.

WWE NXT Superstar Tiffany Stratton recently appeared on Under the Ring podcast, and spoke about the inspirations behind her heel persona. She explained:

"I definitely have some inspiration from movie characters, like Sharpay Evans from High School Musical. [...] I love Paris Hilton, I love her style.

"But for the most part, I've kind of just created my own little sayings, like 'Tiffany Epiphany' or 'Tiffy Time.' That's all kind of just been me coming up with things and all of my outfits, my gear [...] It's all me coming up with the concepts, and trying to figure out 'How do I get my character across when someone just kind of looks at me?'"

Stratton has been on the rise recently in NXT, and currently finds herself in the semi-finals of a tournament for the vacant NXT Women's Championship. She is set to take on Roxanne Perez, a former holder of the belt, while Cora Jade will face Lyra Valkyria in the other semi-final.
