Rhea Ripley may not make an appearance at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view.
The WWE Women's Champion was previously featured on the poster for the event alongside Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, and Trick Williams. The poster has now been updated, however, with Ripley being swapped out for WWE Women's United States Champion Tiffany Stratton.

Ripley being replaced on the poster comes after it was announced on the June 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown that she had sustained a knee injury during WWE's European tour. Ripley's last televised match was a WWE Women's Title defence against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy, but she wrestled twice more after the pay-per-view at WWE house shows in Strasbourg, France and Lisbon, Portugal, teaming with Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton against Fatal Influence.
Rhea Ripley has been WWE Women's Champion since WrestleMania 42. Reports had noted there had been internal pitches for Ripley to defend the title against Jacy Jayne at SummerSlam.
WWE Night of Champions is scheduled to air from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, June 27 at 6 pm BST/1 pm ET on ESPN in the United States and Netflix internationally. The event will feature the finals of the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments, Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage Match, and Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes or Ricky Saints for the United States Championship.
