Kenny Omega Reveals Cody Rhodes Will Still Be In AEW Fight Forever

Cody Rhodes will be in AEW Fight Forever

While Cody Rhodes may have left All Elite Wrestling and returned to WWE earlier this year, The American Nightmare will still be featured in the 'AEW Fight Forever' console video game, according to Kenny Omega.

The former AEW World Champion has focused on the development of Fight Forever while he recovers from several injuries and Omega revealed to Sports Illustrated that Cody will be in the upcoming game.

"This may come as a surprise to people, but Cody is still in the game. I was very passionate about making sure his legacy and position within the company were preserved. We've built this game from the ground up, starting everything from scratch. That's why I thought this game could coincide with the birth of this company. You get to experience AEW from the beginning, from day one. The game is going to reflect a lot of that, even though our locker room is ever-changing," Omega said.

The current plan is for AEW Fight Forever to be released later this year and Omega revealed they are planning to show off new material from the video game "as soon as possible."
