Report: Jungle Boy Out With A Shoulder Injury

Add Jungle Boy to the list of All Elite Wrestling talents currently out of action with an injury.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the former AEW World Tag Team Champion has suffered a shoulder injury and the issue may have occurred in Jurassic Express' recent Ladder Match with The Young Bucks on the June 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.

"It's a shoulder injury. I don't know 100% it's from the ladder match, but that would make sense. But I know it's a shoulder injury," Meltzer said.

Jungle Boy has not wrestled since that Ladder Match when Jurassic Express dropped the AEW World Tag Team Titles to The Young Bucks. Christian Cage then turned on Jungle Boy following the contest, taking him out with a Killswitch and a Con-Chair-To before Jungle Jack left ringside on a stretcher.

Christian continued the feud on June 22, revealing that he only aligned himself with Jurassic Express because he wanted revenge for being eliminated from the Casino Battle Royale at Double Or Nothing 2021. This led to a confrontation between Cage and Luchasaurus but both men ended up walking to the back together, with the dinosaur's allegiances unclear.
