Kenny Omega Says 'Time Is Running Thin' On His In-Ring Career

Kenny Omega might not have long left in the ring

After a 23-year career filled with hard-hitting matches and gruelling injuries, Kenny Omega has said "time is running thin" on his pro wrestling career.

The Best Bout Machine told Sports Illustrated ahead of his Steel Cage Match with Jon Moxley on Dynamite:

"Time is running thin on the Kenny Omega clock. I can guarantee anyone that sees me perform live that there is a reason for that performance, and I work to make every one special. I wanted this one to be unique and very fun for people who tune in and people who are there live. And I know how competitive Jon is. This will be a gruelling, physically demanding and violent cage match."

Omega remains one of AEW's top stars - a spot he has held since he helped form the promotion in January 2019. He is a former AEW World Champion, AEW World Tag Team Champion, and AEW World Trios Champion.

Kenny Omega will face Jon Moxley as part of The Elite's feud with Blackpool Combat Club. In further speaking ahead of the match, Omega called his opponent the MVP of All Elite Wrestling.
