Kevin Dunn Leaving WWE

Kevin Dunn exiting WWE!

Kevin Dunn, one of the most important executives in WWE history, is leaving the organisation, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider

Dunn told WWE at some point around Christmas week that he would be leaving the company. The Executive Producer and Chief of Global Television Distribution decided to retire due to internal changes within WWE following the Endeavor takeover and merger with UFC under TKO Group Holdings and Dunn was "never going to do anything that was dictated" to him, as opposed to him personally overseeing production.

Dunn's WWE exit is not considered shocking within the company as he reportedly never intended to work for anyone except Vince McMahon and the former WWE Chairman has lost much of his power within the company, especially when it comes to creative, since the UFC merger in September of 2023.

Dunn is expected to be replaced within WWE TV production by a mix of people as opposed to just one person. Dunn has stepped back from his role as of late and allowed others to take on more responsibility since the Endeavor acquisition. The man many thought would replace Dunn, Michael Mansury, is now a part of All Elite Wrestling.

Kevin Dunn has been a part of WWE since 1984 and he has been the line producer for WWE TV since 1988. He has become infamous over the years for the company's camera cuts, although there are reportedly other people in the company who like this style of production.
