Kevin Dunn Reportedly Oversees First WWE NXT 2.0 Broadcast

WWE's Executive Producer took the reigns

Kevin Dunn was reportedly in attendance at this week's relaunch of NXT to personally oversee the first broadcast in a new era for the WWE brand.

Dunn, WWE’s Executive Producer & Chief of Global Television Distribution, was at the show from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to ensure the first live episode in NXT 2.0 history ran as smoothly as possible, according to PWInsider.

Following reports last month that NXT would be undergoing a restructure and receiving a fresh lick of paint, speculation mounted as to which main roster officials would be involved in the NXT show. At the very first episode, at least, it appears Dunn was in the man in charge.

The report goes on to say that the script for the Tuesday 14 September episode of NXT 2.0 was changed a 'ton' of times throughout the day, while NXT Executive Producer Triple H was understandably not in attendance as he continues to recuperate following his successful procedure for a cardiac event two weeks ago.

The new-look NXT was shown off to the WWE Universe for the first time this week, introducing a host of new names while also crowning a new NXT Champion in Tommaso Ciampa.
