Kevin Nash In Dispute With WWE Over Merch Money

Kevin Nash and WWE are embroiled in a dispute over merchandise money

Merchandise money is a serious revenue stream for pro-wrestlers, especially those retired from in-ring competition. But for WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, it’s a revenue stream that has seemingly shrunk in recent times.

The legendary former WWE and WCW World Champion has seen his cut of WWE merchandise royalties decrease, and during an appearance on Kliq This, ‘Big Sexy’ revealed that he is not the only former talent facing such a scenario, and he is in dispute with WWE as a result:

"I didn't get a dollar on NWO," Nash said. "It should be 150% of what I normally get [in the next period], and if it's not I guess I'll be putting a piece of paper in Ari's [Emmanuel's] hand."

Nash continued, noting how WWE have tried to placate him with appearances in WWE games as well as a Diesel Funko Pop toy, but these additional revenue streams didn’t exactly fill Nash with joy:

"It's like, I don't give a f***. I don't care if I'm getting 7% of the Heinz ketchup packages that you sell to the ballparks, I want the f***ing royalties to what you're selling to f***ing Walgreens and Walmarts and everyone else in the big 16oz Heinz bottle, I want the bucks," Nash demanded. "Give me all the Funkos you want, I don't get 17% of the Funkos."
