Bobby Lashley Returns At WWE House Show

Bobby Lashley returned to WWE over the weekend

Bobby Lashley has returned to the ring in WWE, albeit not on TV.

Lashley was back in action over the weekend, facing Karrion Kross at a WWE live event on Saturday, June 17 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lashley defeated Kross and The All Mighty scored another win over Kross the next night at another house show in Charleston, West Virginia.

The matches were Lashley's first since he competed in the World Heavyweight Title tournament on the May 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Lashley  won a Triple Threat against Austin Theory and Sheamus but he failed in the tournament semi-final, losing to AJ Styles. Seth Rollins would win the tournament at Night of Champions on May 28 to become World Heavyweight Champion.

When Lashley will return to Friday Night SmackDown is unknown. Speculation has tipped Lashley to eventually challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship since he is one of the few top stars who hasn't faced Reigns in singles action over the past three years.  They last feuded back in 2018, shortly after Lashley returned to WWE.
