Lance Archer Reacts To CM Punk's 'Soft' Comments In AEW Collision Promo
Lance Archer has given his thoughts on CM Punk’s ‘soft’ comments during AEW Collision promo
CM Punk made his long-awaited return to All Elite Wrestling on Saturday, with the Second City Saint making his presence felt on the debut of AEW Collision with one of his trademark scathing promos.
During his promo, Punk made reference to several members of the AEW locker room being ‘soft’, comments which have ignited debate amongst AEW fans online.
The comments have seemingly reached the AEW locker room itself, with Lance Archer commenting on Punk’s opinions on Twitter, insinuating that the former AEW World Champion is afraid of facing Archer in the ring:
“I’m not [soft]. But he won’t fight me and #AEW won’t put me in the ring w him,” tweeted Archer.
Archer and Punk have only shared a ring once before in their careers, with Punk outlasting Archer and six others in an ECW Championship number-one contenders Battle Royal in WWE ECW in 2010.
‘The Murderhawk Monster’ last wrestled in an AEW ring in March, and has spent the majority of the last 12 months working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
