CM Punk Seemingly Throws A Dig At The Young Bucks In AEW Return Promo

CM Punk wasn't tranquilo for his AEW return promo

After much anticipation and hype, CM Punk made his return to All Elite Wrestling in the opening segment of the debut episode of Collision and didn't hold back.

After mentioning his accomplishments in pro wrestling, Punk said fans could boo or cheer him but he is the truth, which led to loud "f**k The Elite" chants inside the United Center. Punk then turned his attention to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, revealing Zaslav's nickname for him is "one bill Phil" because he is the one true genuine article in a business filled with "counterfeit bucks".

While they were not directly mentioned by name, many have viewed Punk's words as a dig at The Young Bucks. Matt and Nick Jackson and CM Punk have had issues over the past year that led to a backstage fight also involving Ace Steel and Kenny Omega following Punk's infamous post-All Out rant in September 2022.

Punk was interviewed by ESPN ahead of his AEW return, during which he detailed his heat with Hangman Page. Seemingly in response to the interview, Nick Jackson defended his Elite stablemate on Instagram

Following the veiled dig, Punk addressed people who feel he owes them an apology. Punk did say he was sorry "because the only people softer than you are the wrestlers you like."

Punk then mentioned that he was carrying the AEW World Title that he never lost in a red bag and he will continue to do so until someone in the company can beat him.

With that, Punk's return promo was over and he headed backstage to prepare for his first match back later in the evening.
