Nick Jackson Seemingly Defends Adam Page After CM Punk Interview
Nick Jackson has come out to praise Adam Page
An interview with CM Punk dropped yesterday in which some of the backstage issues with The Elite were mentioned and brought to the forefront. A major part of the interview was the heat between “Hangman” Adam Page and Punk. In the interview, Hangman doesn’t come across in the best of lights, and it seems as though fellow Elite member Nick Jackson has come out to defend him. In an Instagram story, Jackson posted a photo of Hangman performing a moonsault with the caption;
"Not only is he good at wrestling but he's an even better human being.”
Of course, it could all just be a big old coincidence with Jackson deciding that day to send out compliments to his pal, but the timing of it lines up with Punk’s interview. During his talk with ESPN, Punk talked about his annoyance at Hangman shooting on him in a promo, leading to him being scared for his own safety in their Double or Nothing 2022 AEW World Championship match, where a wayward chop to the face led Punk to suspect that it was in fact a purposeful shoot.
