Kevin Owens Injury Announced By WWE

Kevin Owens has a hand "injury"

Kevin Owens is currently engaged in a feud with both Grayson Waller and Austin Theory on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, and on the most recent episode, his hand was targeted by Waller & Theory in a singles match. It has been revealed that Owens will be working through an injury in the aftermath of that, at least in storyline.

WWE have announced that Owens now has an injury, claiming that he fractured his 4th and 5th metacarpal. They tweeted this out on X, accompanied by a video of Owens being led backstage to have an X-Ray by doctors.

This “injury” stemmed from a spot where Austin Theory interfered in the singles match between Owens and Waller, and stomped Owens’ hand into the steel steps at ringside. Owens will have to deal with this hand injury in the coming weeks as he is set to compete in the upcoming eight-man tournament to determine the new number one contender for Logan Paul’s United States Championship, which also includes both Theory and Waller.
