Kevin Owens Shows Off Vicious Side On WWE Raw, Destroys Ezekiel

An aggressive Kevin Owens on WWE Raw

One man who didn't want to hear Zeke speak was Kevin Owens.

KO and Ezekiel were scheduled to go one-on-one during Monday's episode of Raw and as soon as the bell rang, an enraged Owens went straight after Elias' younger brother, rapidly attacking him on the outside until he decked Zeke with two Powerbombs on the apron.

This caused the match to end abruptly and Ezekiel was stretchered out of the arena before being taken to a local hospital, WWE noted.

KO's attack of Ezekiel was reminiscent of when he turned on Sami Zayn back in 2014 at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution and Owens very much displayed a vicious side that has largely been missing from his character on the main roster in recent years. When asked to explain his actions, Owens simply said he wanted to remind people that Raw was the Kevin Owens show.

Owens' return came after reports noted plans were being "cooked up" for the former Universal Champion following Triple H's appointment as the new head of creative. The 38-year-old has been absent from WWE TV for much of the summer, although he had feuded with Ezekiel prior to that, defeating him at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view in June.
