Kevin Owens Wishes He & Sami Zayn Had More Time At WWE WrestleMania 37

To have a match for the ages

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn rekindled their long-running feud at WrestleMania 37 and KO would ultimately defeat his former friend at The Showcase Of The Immortals following an enjoyable nine-minute match.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Owens revealed he wishes he and Sami had more time, though, so they could have ensured the match became one for the ages.

"We only had a few weeks build and we only knew about it a few weeks before that it was going to happen. It was a great moment, great that I got to share the ring with him on that stage. I wish we would of had more time [in the ring] and I think if we had more time, it would have been something. People loved the match from what I can tell, but we could have given them something people talk about for a long time," Owens said.

"But, honestly, not many people can say they've had a singles match at WrestleMania - especially these days, it's getting more and more rare - so to do it with Sami after all the history we have, it's incredible to look back on."

Owens and Zayn continued feuding following WrestleMania 37 and KO would win their rubber Last Man Standing Match in July.
